Jesus
said, "My words are spirit and they are life."
Life
is expressed not by trying to live for God, but through trust,
allowing His life to flow through you. So this is not about
me or you! Our only hope of glory is Christ in me. So we are
dead to the law, dead to sin, and we are dead to ourselves
being a reference point. So it's not myself that is my reference
point, or my emotions, or opinions, or experiences, but it's
Christ in me that is my only reference point.
All
that God asks of us is to accept the fact and the truth that
He loves us unconditionally, then you find your own heart
responding to His love, crying Abba Father. In other words,
you are not accepted based on your performance or lack of
performance. You are accepted based on faith in His performance
on your behalf.
The
gospel is the revelation of God having made man right Himself
from faith to faith. He said, "for as many as received
Him to them He gives the power to become sons of God."
Of His fullness have we all received grace for grace. That
means that He's given you enough to receive it all.
By
faith we understand that the world was framed by the word
of God. But many of us think if we can understand something,
we can believe. But the Word says that by faith we understand.
So, I don't have to understand to believe or receive. It is
done by faith.
Because
of who He is in us, we are an expression of His law, which
is His character expressed through us. So, I can live under
the law, which is death; I can live lawlessly, which is death;
or I live by faith in His life in me, which is grace, that
teaches me to deny ungodliness and live Godly in this present
world. (Tit. 2:12) The point is: Christ in me is my only hope
of experiencing His glory.
